When I first found ZetaTalk I was amazed by the shear size of it. I used to read as much of it as I could on-line but often I had to wait because of "Net congestion problems". I then figured out how to be able to read it off-line, no more delays! In short I used the "Synchronize" feature included in the Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 (free). Here is a quick summary of how to proceed: (this only takes a few seconds if you are used to Windows and the Internet Explorer).

  1. Go to Zetatalk.com
  2. Select the "Favourites" menu. The menu will then open up.
  3. Select the submenu item called: "Add to Favorites..."
  4. A small window called: "Add Favorite" opens up, select the check box called: "Make available offline"
  5. Then select the push button called: "Customize...". This will let you select how much content you want available offline.
  6. At this point an Offline Favorite Wizard window opens up.
  7. Select the button called "Next".
  8. Select the "Yes" checkbox.
  9. Where it indicates "Download pages 1 links deep from this page" select 1, 2 or 3. The deeper you download the more pages you get, the more memory it takes. For example if the first page of Zetatalk links to a page from Trouble Times which then links to a page from a third site you will get all pages if you select "3".
  10. Select "Next".
  11. Here you can select to synchronize manually using the "Synchronize" option from the Tools menu. Or can create a schedule: for example synchronize every 30 days at 3:00AM. Chose whichever you prefer.
  12. Select "Next" and then select "Finish".
  13. Now you are back to the "Add Favorite" window. Select OK and you are done! After your first synchronize you will be able to read the content off-line.

Now wasn't that simple?
