ZetaTalk stated in January, 1998 that the American Computer Co. claim of receiving alien technology was a hoax. In July, 1998, IUFO and Riskers Mailing List circulated a report that on July 12, 1998, the American Computer Co.'s President, Jack Shulman, admitted this on a radio show in Atlantic City, NJ, stating his sales were still "way up". The American Computer Company denies this report.

ACC Jack Shulman Admits Using UFO's For Bait

On a local radio show in Atlantic City, NJ yesterday, ACC President Jack Shulman admitted using UFO's, aliens, alien-abductions, and the paranormal to increase sales for his small NJ company. In the interview, Mr. Shulman was asked why this worked. "Because so many people are involved in this, we have an automatic audience. They are going to listen to us, because if they don't, they become part of the conspiracy" Mr. Shulman said he thanks both the people involved in ufology, and the United State government for promoting his company for him.

ACC began using this tactic nearly two years ago, when the began "The Roswell Story." The brainchild of Shulman himself, compiled of reports from all over the net, in books, and on TV. "People believe there is something to it, and if we claim that we have the secrets, they come. While they are there, they might buy a computer." Some of those deep in the study of UFO's say that this is damaging to a cause that is devoted to finding the truth. Shulman says in response, "..the 'UFO community' is nothing but a bunch of crackpots and losers, with nothing better to do with their lives." After making contact with some prominant figures in ufology, we learned that ACC has very little pull with those in the study of UFO's and alien abductions. Most tell us that ACC buried themselves. Shulman says, "... yes, but our sales are up!"

Subject: Abuse of our Servers and posting of fake news stories

Your client, Zetatalk.com and Troubled Times, Inc., maintains fake
press releases which it and others use to stalk and harass our company.
Zetatalk is, to begin with, what looks like an innoffensive, if insane,
organization. It purports to be communing with Aliens, and that
the end of the world is upon us, that people are going to 'ascend' by
transforming to the '4th Density'.

Zetatalk reminds us of the Heaven's Gate Cult, which resulted in the
tragic suicide of 25 people, and of the recent "Trenchcoat Mafia" in
Littleton, Co.

Your client's website has been used for more than a year, to attack and
assault American Computer Company for reasons only known to the
shady characters that use it for same.

But, be that as it may:

The below fake press release, as Mr. Shulman has never appeared on
any such Atlantic City Radio Show nor made any such claims, nor has
Mr. Shulman ever nor ACC ever claimed that Alien Technology "WAS"
transferred to the Army or ACC or AT&T in connection with the Bell
Labs Transistor, consists of the outgrowth of a continued anti- semitic
smear campaign against ACC and Mr. Shulman.

Your hosting their page, and their refusal to remove the fake press
releases, constitutes a conspiracy to enable this Hate Speech campaign
to be waged on the web.

Accordingly, Pennsylvania On-Line will be held legally accountable for
the violation of ACC's rights in connection with the stalking, terrorism
and harassment which you have fosted in the pages found on Zetatalk.com.

You have one day to convince your client that this attack on ACC shall
cease, after which ACC will not only take appropriate legal steps, but we
shall be forced to take steps to contact the Charities section of the
Pennsylvania Attorney General and ask them to investigate your possible
operation of a fake charity on the Internet.

I note that Mr. Lan Lamphere, who authored, with one Todd Andrews,
the below fake press release over a year ago, is a defendent in an existing
lawsuit in New Jersey, on the Superior Court of the County of Union, and
if you wish to be entered in the future as a party to same lawsuit, after the
present phase concludes, then keep on posting this fake story on your
equipment.

Sincerely,
