A pollution horror happened in Harriman, TN when a dam holding back coal slurry broke, spewing the slurry downhill along ravines and toward the Tennessee River. Coal slurry contains heavy metals, and the spill is considered more damaging overall than the Exxon Valdez oil spill. Tennessee has not previously had a slurry dam breach, ever. The official reason for the breach? A moderately cold day, 14 F, and 2 inches of rain above the average for December. If this sounds like a lame excuse, it is.

An earthen dam holding back a retention pond broke early Monday at a power plant run by the nation's largest public utility, releasing a frigid mix of water, ash and mud that damaged 12 homes and put hundreds of acres of rural land under water. The 40-acre pond was used by the Tennessee Valley Authority to hold a slurry of ash generated by the coal-burning Kingston Steam Plant in Harriman, about 50 miles west of Knoxville. Investigators were trying to determine exactly what caused the breach, but the TVA spokesman said heavy rains and freezing temperatures may be to blame. Forecasters said the overnight temperature dropped to 14 degrees in Harriman and Francis said there had been 4.9 inches of rain this month so far compared to 2.8 inches in a typical December.

A test of river water near the spill showed elevated levels of lead and thallium, which can cause birth defects and nervous and reproductive system disorders. Both metals were filtered out by water treatment processes.

Per the Zetas, this breach and others have been due to the Earth changes due to the ground shifting, but the Zetas warn the public not to expect honesty on this matter from the establishment. Fear of panic in the public is uppermost in the minds of the establishment, who will eventually invent some lame excuse for the breach.

ZetaTalk Comment 12/27/2008: There has been no official explanation for the dam break as yet, but one will emerge that points away from any Earth changes, as all such explanations do by the establishment's rules. One must not let the public know that dams will be breaking, or that sinkholes are increasing, or that water and gas mains are snapping. Such news invokes questions, and the establishment wants the public dumb and calm. This is not the first dam that has breached in Tennessee, for no apparent reason. The pace of such breaches will increase, with the public eventually realizing that the official explanations are suspect.

The next day a water main in Maryland broke, creating the need for a dramatic and well televised rescue effort as many cars filled with commuters and shoppers were suddenly awash in cold water that was several feet deep. The 66" main, over 5' feet wide, was only 44 years old and was considered to be guaranteed to be secure against this type of problem for 100 years. As proof this was not merely a single pipe failure, a second main broke nearby the next day. Officials are not even proffering an excuse for the failures.

A massive water main break in Cabin John, Maryland, near the communities of Potomac and Bethesda, unleashed the flood during rush-hour Tuesday morning. The water main, 66 inches in diameter, unleashed the wall of water just before 8 am that, at its height, was four feet high and 60 to 70 feet wide. Dramatic rescues by firefighters and emergency crews were broadcast nationwide on live television.

Another water main break is keeping utility crews busy in Bethesda - a day after nine people became trapped in their cars when a massive water main burst. An 8-inch water main broke on Seven Locks Road between Bradley Boulevard and River Road on Wednesday morning. The new break is on the River Road detour established on Tuesday. Officials say it could be weeks before they know what caused the 66-inch water main to burst on River Road.

The breach happened along River Road, a low point in the terrain. Per the Zetas, river beds are points where the ground has pulled apart. In other words, River Road is in the stretch zone. Clearly, this was a stretch zone occurrence, as two, not one, breaks occurred.

ZetaTalk Explanation 8/16/2008: Stretch zones primarily experience sinking ground, as the support in the rock strata is stretched thin. Thus, buildings implode and gas and water mains break, as we have stated. River beds are often found over areas which are prone to stretching, as this is why the land is lower there. It was subject to a stretch before.

In addition to the Maryland water main breaks, sinkholes due to water main breaks have been occurring in nearby New Jersey during this same time frame. As the Zetas predicted, such incidents make the local news, but not the national news, else the public might put two and two together and realize that the pace of such ground movement is increasing.

Two sinkholes opened up Tuesday night in the Hillcrest section of town, damaging a home that was unoccupied at the time and nearly opening under a passing car, police said. The affected area at 20 feet wide by 30 to 40 feet long. A preliminary investigation suggested a water main break was involved.

Per the Zetas, such stretch zone accidents will be on the increase between the present time and the time of the pole shift.

ZetaTalk Warming 7/28/2007: We have detailed our predictions on events which will happen in the stretch zone. Derailing trains, breaking gas and water mains, bridges and roadways shifting, land dropping into sinkholes. Fault lines help man predict where a quake will occur, slip/slide or compression/subduction and the like, but most disasters will not occur from the shaking of quakes. Most will occur because the ground is shifting in stretch zones or around fault lines in land forced to adjust to a compressed plate or lack of support along the edges of a plate. These shifts will be unexpected, not something geologists have contemplated. What are the next events? Similar to what has been occurring, but with a greater degree of earth movement.

Quake Uptick

If stretch disasters took a sudden rise in late December, quakes did too. Yellowstone began a quake swarm on December 27-28 that was most unusual and is still ongoing. Between Christmas and News Years Eve over 250 measurable earthquakes were registered.

University of Utah professor Robert Smith says earthquakes have followed him all his life. It's happened again. He was on vacation in Wyoming when the big series of small quakes hit Yellowstone on Friday December 26th. By Friday, January 2nd, Smith said over 500 tremors had been recorded around the north end of Yellowstone Lake. The biggest quake was a magnitude 3.9 - not big enough to cause damage. There have been clusters, or "swarms" of quakes at Yellowstone before, but not this many for this long says Smith. Smith said the cause of the quakes is not known and it's not clear what effects the quakes will have.

Whereas Yellowstone is very active, a swarm of this nature is still unusual.

From 1,000 to 3,000 earthquakes typically occur each year within Yellowstone National Park and its immediate surroundings. Although most are too small to be felt, these quakes reflect the active nature of the Yellowstone region, one of the most seismically active areas in the United States. Each year, several quakes of magnitude 3 to 4 are felt by people in the park.

This is why the current news of an earthquake swarm at Yellowstone is, in the very least, really interesting. The earthquakes - over 250 of them - started yesterday and many of them were as high as magnitude 3.8 on the Richter Scale. The earthquakes are centered under Yellowstone Lake and the depth is poor constrained according to the USGS, but they appear to be shallow. Even Yellowstone expert Robert Smith (Univ. of Utah) say the swarm is "very unusual".

The quake swarm is also showing a sensitivity to the 12 hour wobble, the tugging at the Earth's surface by Planet X that causes a signature global shuddering at approximately UTC 0:00 and UTC 12:00. For example, this chart for December 29, 2008 from the University of Utah shows a change in the seismograph during the 12:00 UTC time frame.

The Zetas warn that more is yet to come!

ZetaTalk Warning 1/3/2009: Let us preface our answer by reminding everyone that we are not allowed by the rules to warn mankind of any specific disaster by date and time and place. That said, we can state that the current Yellowstone activity will not subside. We have repeatedly warned that earthquakes and the stress on the Earth plates will increase up until the time of the pole shift. Since the start of the ZetaTalk saga in 1995 we have warned about the approach of Planet X and its effect on the hapless Earth. An Earth wobble, with resultant weather wobbles and jerking about of the Earth plates has produced crop shortages and extreme tides and, of course, roiling magma. The number of active volcanoes has long since surpassed the number in the memory of man, including many volcanoes considered by man to be extinct.

Yellowstone, as we long ago stated, will not be a supervolcano, but will as with other volcanoes on the N American continent erupt at some point either before or during the hour of the pole shift. The West Coast of N America is under a bowing stress, with Alaska and the tip of Mexico pulled westward while the interior is fixed. This has caused a mining accident in Utah in recent years, and quake swarms in Nevada. Of course Yellowstone is not exempt! When the bow finally relaxes it will be in conjunction with adjustments along the New Madrid Fault line, where the land west of the Mississippi sinks and moves somewhat to the southwest while the land to the east of the Mississippi remains in place. This will tear the bridges along the Mississippi but will also create slipslide adjustments throughout the western US. Those places where magma is close to the surface will find the rock holding the magma back fracturing, and eruptions will occur. Just when these adjustments occur, we cannot reveal.

Whereas the Yellowstone swarm is alarming and unusual, significant quakes felt miles away have been occurring in places not accustomed to such quakes -- for instance, the area around the Three Mile Island nuclear facility in Pennsylvania on December 27, 2008.

Mild Earthquake Shakes Lancaster County

A minor earthquake rattled Lancaster County early Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The 3.3 magnitude quake hit at 12:04 am. More than 1,000 residents called the county 911 center after feeling the tremors, according to the emergency dispatch center. The USGS Web site shows the quake was centered in the Salunga-Landisville area. It was felt in Philadelphia and Baltimore, too. Grant said his office received calls from Lancaster County emergency dispatch and Three Mile Island Nuclear Facility. The earthquake was the seventh minor one to hit the state since early October, according to USGS data. The tremors were centered around a 23-mile radius of Saturday morning's quake. They occurred: Oct. 5, 19, 20 and 23.

The Zetas warn that the edges of the Earth plates have become smooth, allowing greater movement and thus more damage to mankind's infrastructure when the plates adjust. They have repeatedly warned that the uptick in quakes is only the start.

ZetaTalk Warning 12/6/2008: We mentioned some time ago that the edges of the Earth's plates had become smooth, rock fingers broken off so the fault lines could move a greater distance, allowing the plates to shift about more readily. This is only the start.

6 on 1-10 Scale

On March 22, 2008 the Zetas were asked what to expect by the end of the year. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the pole shift itself, they predicted the globe would be experiencing a 6 by the end of 2008. The Zetas prefaced their prediction by stating that March 22, 2008 was already at a 2-3 on this scale. This uptick on the scale would include sociological unrest, economic downturns, crop shortages, weather irregularities and tidal waves caused by the Earth wobble as well as geological changes such as earthquakes and stretch zone accidents.

Question: On a scale of 1-10, from the level that the Earth changes are today, how much "worse" will it get in 2008?

ZetaTalk Prediction 3/22/2008: If you consider that you are perhaps between a 2 and a 3, it could be considered to rise to a 6 by the end of the year. 10 being the pole shift, of course. This is taking into consideration all Earth changes, such as weather, winds, floods, earthquakes and stretch zone accidents, and political and economic upheaval.

Since March we experienced increasingly erratic weather, including increasing earthquakes and the flooding in the Midwest in June, 2008. Per the Zetas, the state of affairs had risen by a couple notches on the scale to become a 4 or 4+.

Question: Where would the Zetas say we are now on the 1-10 scale (as had said we'd be around a 6 at the end of the year) with Earth changes with the recent earthquakes in China, Japan and all the crazy weather and flooding in the US?

ZetaTalk Response 6/21/2008: The year has hardly begun! Perhaps a 4 or 4+. And realize that our warning included sociological changes too, like failing economies and crop shortages and homelessness. This too has only just started.

By November of 2008 the anxious public was demanding to know what else might constitute a 6 of 10, beyond what had already occurred.

Question: I know there is still a month left in the year but it seems like some pretty drastic Earth changes would have to happen in that time to move the scale up to a 6. Can the Zetas comment if possible?

ZetaTalk Stonewalling 11/22/2008: We were asked this question a week ago and the answer has not changed. A year ago, the US was bragging about its economic state, no recession and booming. Now all the talk on the media compares the present circumstances with the Great Depression. The markets, and the economy, worldwide, will not come out of this but will slide steadily into the times of the pole shift. Last week, we stated that more must occur for a rating of 6 out of 10. And more will! About this, we can say no more.

ZetaTalk Stonewalling 11/15/2008: Certainly, the Wall Street crash in September and the continued pace of job loss and bankruptcy worldwide is a factor in this. But there are physical, geological changes yet that will occur, as well as weather extremes. And there may be other surprises which we cannot detail. As usual, we like to surprise the establishment.

During December, the Zetas were being hammered during the live chats, being asked repeatedly what else might be pending for a 6 of 10 to be reached. Other than to admit that geological changes would be occurring, the Zetas continued to stonewall as the rules laid down by the Council of Worlds requires. They continued to warn that more is yet to come and matters on all fronts will get worse.

Question: Is the mega earthquake predicted for this time period going to happen?

ZetaTalk Response 12/13/2008: No. This has not happened yet. We are not at a 6 of 10 yet.

Question: Will the events normally associated with the solstice next week bring us to the 6 on the scale of 1 to 10 the Zetas claimed we would arrive at by year's end?

ZetaTalk Comment 12/20/2008: As has been noted during many successive December 21 soltices, the Earth is prone to earthquakes during this time. A day or so ago another Internet cable was severed in the Mediterranean, showing that the Arabian Plate is rotating again. There is more pending. The worst is yet to come.

After the solstice, by December 27, 2008 a significant uptick in quakes had been noticed, as well as stretch zone disasters in Maryland and Tennessee. Was this it? Were we at a 6 of 10, or was something else yet pending? The Zetas continued to warn that more was yet to come, and stated that the close of 2008 should not necessarily be considered to be December 31, 2008.

Question: Can the Zetas address a bit more what their definition of a 6 on the 1-10 scale is? Is it just economic pain and the wobble that we now see? Are they saying something else big will happen in 3 to 4 days?

ZetaTalk Stonewalling 12/27/2008: We stated in June that we considered the scale to be on a 4+ due to the flooding and crop shortages. This was all prior to the Wall Street crash that occurred in September and October, with the economy declining since. We also stated two weeks ago that the big quakes expected which would place the scale at a 6 had not yet occurred. The end of 2008 may be considered to be approximate. Of this, we can say no more due to the rules we must honor.

Question: 3.4 EQ in Pennsylvania today and 3.2 at Yellowstone. Is the delay in traveling and the sludge in Tennessee what brings us to a 6?

ZetaTalk Stonewalling 12/27/2008: Travel delays are nothing new during the severe weather that is increasingly becoming more chaotic. Nor is a single breaking dam that traumatic. But quakes in areas that are unaccustomed to them, and many breaks such as the almost simultaneous water main break in Maryland along with the sludge dam in Tennessee are indications of what is coming. About this we can say no more!

Question: Canada, Alaska, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, and Yellowstone all getting pounded by quakes today and yesterday. Most recently the larger quakes shook the Philippines, Italy, Tonga and Japan. This is getting very violent. Erratic weather as well.

ZetaTalk Stonewalling 12/27/2008: We have detailed over the recent past that quake increases had become exponential, rather than linear as formerly. Also that the rock fingers preventing fault lines from rubbing against each other, making significant movement during any given quake, had been rubbed off so that the fault lines were smooth and would allow greater movement during quakes. Quakes have increased in frequency and magnitude, a fact the USGS would love to hide but the quakes are noticeable by the public so some mention must be made. Still, the USGS is underplaying the magnitude of these quakes greatly, attempting to put on the brakes. These matters have only started to escalate. About this we cannot be more specific.

So by the end of 2008 (or whenever we reach the 6 the Zetas predicted last March) we will have reached a new baseline. Taking into consideration the economic crash threatening to become a second Great Depression, the floods and temperature swings, the rising price of food, the stretch zone accidents and the significant earthquakes increasingly being registered we can approximate the state of affairs going into the pole shift. If we double the trouble we have experienced since March, 2008 to the point when the Zetas confirm we have arrived at a 6 of 10, we can approximate what to anticipate going into the hour of the pole shift. If we double the trouble we would theoretically move 4 more points from a 6 to a 10 on the 1-10 scale. Per the Zetas this is where we could anticipate being when the hour of the pole shift is near. However, 6 of 10 has not yet arrived, per the Zetas.

ZetaTalk Explanation 1/3/2009: We warned during last week's chat that the exact "end" of 2008 should not be delimited by the Gregorian calendar date - midnight of December 31, 2008, which in any case varies by hours depending upon one's location around the globe. Predictions on geological changes can be accurate as to cause and effect and sequence of events, but not always accurate as to exact date and time. The events we included in our 6 of 10 have not all occurred as yet, but soon will. About this we can say no more.
